Laura Moretz makes large-scale abstract paintings from her studio in Aspen, Colorado. Her work moves through elemental forces — water, gravity, color, time — and is built around a moon water ritual at the center of her practice. She has been painting for over two decades, and her work is held in private and corporate collections across the country.
She is also a professional astrologer and poet. Painting, astrology, tarot, writing — for Laura these are not separate practices but one continuous way of reading the world. Among the Colors, her creative platform featured in ELLE magazine, is where they all live together.
