Mars stations Direct (in Gemini) 1.13.2023

There is a flickering in the nervous system right now.

A changing of the tides.

It may feel unsettling,

perhaps irritating.

Or it may be a surge of adrenaline

washing through and ringing out your entire system.

Mars rules the adrenals.

Mars rules the blood.

Our blood is made of iron just as Mars

is made of iron.

So for you to be feeling the shift

in your body,

you are not alone.

In fact you are so not alone,

that a planet separated through space

and rotating in its own gravitational alignment with the sun,

could have such a profound impact on you.

You are not alone.

These surges are not your own.

Sometimes surrender is the quickest way to let the energy pass.

And sometimes rest is the best action

for a station that affects us all so collectively like this.

And rest can be integrated into your day.

It can be a 5 minute meditation, a longer walk, it can be a deep breathe in the sunlight, or a scream at the moonlight.

So as we enter the weekend with Mars barely moving as it stations, and a few more days of Mercury Retrograde,

I offer you this:

Let the anxiety, the stress, the anger move through you.

Do not hold onto it.

Acknowledge it and let it swish around in your ancient nervous system until you can offer it up to the shifting stars.

Usher in that new space with something nourishing, with a new intention,

with a new way you will be able to step into the world

with yet another layer of anxiety gone.

PS. Mars moves out of Gemini in March and will then become more of a force of good for us this year as it rules an upcoming nodal shift in Aries. So use this time to purge. Humble yourself in the presence of this Mars station and prepare for him to come back with blessings as we move through the rest of the year.

Rest up. Check on each other. I love you.
